Former Worldwide Creative Director of Saatchi & Saatchi.

Australian-born Bob Isherwood was the Worldwide Creative Director of Saatchi & Saatchi from 1996 until he resigned in November 2008. He cited as his reason for resigning that, after helping reinvent the company, he needed to reinvent himself. He added that he wanted ďanother life in his lifetimeĒ and that he was ďopen for businessĒ.

Isherwood was the driving force behind the Saatchi & Saatchi Award for World Changing Ideas. This global biennial Award attracts extraordinary inventions and initiatives with the potential to make the world a better, kinder place. The most recent winner was LifeStraw, a personal, portable water purifier for use in the developing world.

Outstanding individuals have judged the Award. These include Buzz Aldrin, Laurie Anderson, Edward de Bono, Peter Gabriel, HRH Prince Hassan of Jordan, Danny Hillis, Kevin Kelly, Baz Luhrmann, John Maeda, Malcolm McLaren, Kjell A. Nordström, Lou Reed, Philippe Starck, and Richard Saul Wurman.

Isherwood was also the presenter of the legendary Saatchi & Saatchi New Directorsí Showcase at the annual Cannes International Advertising Festival.

As an acknowledged advertising industry leader, Isherwood has been regularly invited to deliver keynote speeches and to contribute to books and articles.
